The Importance of Preventive Maintenance

Optimizes performance of all systems
Ensures easier starting
Improves fuel efficiency
Increases vehicle life
Provides a more enjoyable driving experience

If your vehicle
starts and runs smoothly, you probably
tend to delay doing any work on it. However, your
vehicle does need a yearly tune-up which involves
more than changing the engine oil.

A properly maintained vehicle will run more efficiently, be safer, more
cost-effective,
and will last longer. A regular preventive maintenance inspection
is the best way to
help you save money on repairs.

Warning Signs of a Defective Part

Engine cranks poorly or not at all during cold starts
Engine cranks but takes too much time to start
Black smoke comes out of the exhaust pipe
 Increased fuel consumption
 Poor acceleration and overall performance

Preventive maintenance significantly helps in reducing your operating costs and increasing the life of your vehicle.

Ask about these products:

  • Specialty spark plugs (such as multi electrodes or high performance and long lasting platinum) for fuel economy.
  • Winter wiper blades specially designed for snow and drizzle.
  • Premium high output Halogen, Super Blue or Xenon lamps for brighter lighting and improved visibility.
  •   Parts to be inspected or replaced

    Suggested Preventive Maintenance*

Among other things, your technician will replace the engine oil and filter, inspect the battery, clean and tighten its cables. While inspecting your brakes, he will lubricate the caliper slides. He will make sure that the air filter, vacuum and coolant hoses, spark plugs, charging system, starter draw, coolant level, drive belts and timing belt, headlamps, taillights, and lift supports (for trunk, hatch and sometimes hood) are in good condition. He will also clean the fuel injector and replace the fuel filter.
